Experience absolutely necessary

On Thursday night we went with my family to the outstanding play A Christmas Carol at Hale Center Theater in Orem. I was inspired and felt the Christmas spirit in its purity. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Colleen (mom in law) is usually able to babysit for us when we go out with my family, but she had other obligations. We hired two girls from the ward to babysit. To make a long story short: Audrey fell off the changing table....and she has a broken leg.
She gets a cast tomorrow.
Any suggestions on the color?

oh oh oh! both Dave and I are very sad for Audrey. It must have been hideous for all of you. Of course Audrey's cast should be pink. Or maybe purple. (You know my whole family thinks your kids are somehow related to us. If you don't mind more, extended, family, we're there for you!)

Oh my goodness. How very sad! Poor girl. I am completely freaked out when it comes to babysitters. And this sure won't help my fear.

I think Pink is always good for a girl.

Oh, this Lorina.. remember me?

Oh no! I'm sorry her sweet leg is broken. But i'm glad you had a good time at the play. As for color....of course the first thought would be pink, but it is christmas so maybe red?

Thank you all for your concern. She's doing well. I let daddy choose the color. He chose blue. It looks feminine on her. :)

oh my goodness. what a little leg to be broken! it will probably heal quickly, though, right? oh i hope.

now i feel like a big dope for not wanting to babysit. THIS is why the woman felt more comfortable with me and nate than getting a beehive (which is what i secretly wanted her to do).

Oh my gosh I'm seriously tearing up over here! Your poor sweet little baby! Ohhhh I'm so sad for you! I hope she heals super super fast and it is not awful for all of you. Oh I just thought of having to sponge bathe her for 6 weeks... You poor poor thing.

Hey I'm going to be in Utah from the 19th to the 25th if you want to play for a little bit. I think it would be fun if we can schedule something. I have your number so I'll call you. Or if you get impatient you can reach me at the old parent's number... same as when we were kids.
